It will be interesting to hear how the psychological evaluation for employment came out on this guy.
This article from a month after the 2016 presidential election he
admits that Trump being elected has drained his emotions. It's worrisome
in itself, that our city officials (unelected people on the police and
fire commission) want to hire a guy from the swamp (Washington D.C.) to
be the manager of our small town fire department. Much less a guy who
writes like an emotional snowflake.
Couldn't we find a stable, experienced fireman locally to keep our trucks polished and hoses in good shape? This guy sounds like he wants to have group therapy with our municipal employees.
I hope our ELECTED officials (city council) do their jobs and send this hiring proposal to the trash can and direct our police and fire commission to interview LOCAL candidates that don't base their life decisions as much on their emotions as on tried and true work ethics.
